I tell stories about women’s rights — writing words that paint pictures, painting pictures that pose questions and questioning the field’s most provocative advocates, activists and artists to expose many layers of each issue.
Just as words, sounds and sights can be used to convey why injustice exists, they can also conjure up what might be different, first in our minds, hearts and spirits, and then in the world.
In order to create social change, we can and must craft these alternative visions and that they must be authentic, interrogative and moving.
